Broken screw in nerf maverick, ho?

I am trying to open up my Nerf maverick, but one of the screws on the outside is broken and it won't budge, how do i remove it? I tryed to force it apart by breaking the bond but it only cracked the plastic AROUND it. I am getting really frustrated and i am NOT going to buy any stupid tools. How do i remove it?
