Can anybody fix my Nerf Firefly shooting problem?

My senior class is having a nerf war over the next coming weeks, so I've been making sure all my guns work. Unfortunately, my nerf firefly is not working too well, as every few shots the barrel won't rotate when you pull the trigger, so the dart won't fire. Can anybody help me with this problem?
