I need help with my NERF MAVERICK!!?

I did the air restrictor and full barrel removal mods. I also did the penny mod. I'm assuming i put in too many pennies because now the metal rod in the cocking mechanism is bent and it wont cock back half of the time. If you could tell me how to fix this or if you could tell me where to purchase a replacement, that's great. Also, if i could just have the measurement of the rod that would be appreciated because I can't measure mine because it is bent.
