If a man is being physically abused by his wife and he calls the police...?

would the police :- (a) Arrest the woman or (b) arrest the man because in our society men are always the abusers while women are always the innocent little lambs or (c) laugh at him because in our society violence against men is always a joke but violence against women is the worst thing ever.
