That lump can be what they call a bone spur, a build up of calcium on that area. I've had those before and pressed onto them with pretty good force and held the pressure on them and they would slowly 'dissolve' under that pressure to finally go away after a few attempts. My sister was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident 8 years ago and sustained injuries. After 2 years, she got pregnant and had a very painful delivery. The gynocologist prescribed her oxycontin/oxycodone for pain. Since then (6yrs) ago she has been prescribed these paralysing medications and she has built an immunity to them, so her and her doctor agreed that she should up her doses. She did not know that this drug could actually make you become addicted. She is on over 300 mg's of prescribed synthetic heroin and weighs a whopping 90 pounds, she has been loosing weight since dec.2011. All of her bones are showing, her shoulder blade rubs against her rib cage, her spine sticks out, she is a skeleton. The doctor said she has no time to care for her, after she prescribed her such a high dose of synthetic heroin. The doctor said its like a cold glass of water in her face. She told my sister to look up articles in magazines if she wants advice on saboxown a type of drug to help wheen patients off this drug. Now my sister has no doctor, she is left with one weeks prescription, she cannot cut off these drugs cold turkey, this is lethal to her health. She could even die because of her weight problem. She's been on these drugs 6 years, has never unused them, she has a daughter that is 6 now, and all she wants to do is to wake up and start her day. She does not want to take them anymore. She is more then willing to work with any professional to get off of these. The doctor up'd her dose 1 month ago and dropped her as a patient. My sister got her last appointment on a voice memo on her ipod, she cannot find another family doctor, she has called walk in clinics, crisis center, telehealth [ottawa,ontario], everyone has told her to go to emergency and the hospital told her they would not prescribe that to her. Is there anything she could do? Anyone know of any doctors that have the time to deal with her pain issues, she takes this drug for back and neck pain, so there is a reason for taking it. She will then have to deal with the pain and withdrawals. She looks really sick. But she needs the meds. She doesnt think the drugs and intense weight loss has anything to do with each other. Cooking ideas please! I have a 400g pack of diced lamb. What can I make?

Try this simple recipe I used yesterday to make chicken. Take one bottle ketchup, about 15 prunes, and chipotle peppers in adobe sauce and blend together with half a cup of water. Boil the sauce with the lamb pieces at medium heat. When it is well done, cool and eat. As you heat for about an hour, mix and stir occassionally as the prune/ketchup/adobe sauce mixture will stick to the bottom of your pan/pot and may burn.

Need some oranizing ideas for my 5 year old boys room?

Every once in a while it gets outta control and we have to go through and separate but he does pretty good at putting stuff where it goes. I need help in bandaging a kitty's rear leg/s!!!!!!?

Ok, my mom is away from home and being the only one that knows how to use a car in the house I have to start it and move it every once in a while. In one of those every once in a while I accidentally ran over a kitty, well not exactly ran over her. I didn't got to run over her completely because I was looking out for cats on the way (apparently I wasn't looking good enough) and thanks to the face the mother put I was able to recognize immediately the problem. So I stopped and I saw that I had barely ran over her left leg. My mother told me to bandage the leg (with two stick that doctors use to check the mouth) over the phone 'cause it looked dislocated, an opinion that became a fact when my mom told me it was (my mom is a doctor and I was talking and sending pictures for half an hour). Anyway there's only as much as my mom can help me at so I am looking for vids on how to bandage the leg with no sticks what so ever. She also recommended to give 1/4 of Acetaminophen (Tylenol) every 8h. Now, any opinions are completely and absolutely (whatever they might be) welcome and I have considered taking her to a veterinarian but I have no license (the driving I did was inside the house property), my other family members are too far away to come and help me (not that they'll be glad to waste gas for a kitty), and my step father is in Cuba (he doesn't know how to drive anyway, he has some kind of phobia that disables him from driving). Ohh and by the way, the kitty has a bump on the inner part near or on (don't really know, I am not a freaking expert) the location of the hip bone, any info and/or cure will be nice tooo. So yeah now that you know my situation I hope you can help me, and notice I use the word kitty instead of cat because the kitty is still small (I have no flipping clue on how old she is, the cats hang around the house and my sis feeds them). Why are dead bodies tossed in the ground when they could be put to much better use?

Sure, there is organ donation, but over all, dead bodies of our fellow man are wasted and frivolously tossed into the ground, when they could be legally used for sexual pleasure, lowering the rape and other sex crimes (like pedophilia), used for scare crows, bones could be carved into fancy knife handles, collectible knickknacks, bowls, or other useful items, eliminating the need to make so much plastic, lowering our oil needs. These are just a few of the many things we could do with our deceased loved ones, but I won't bore you with more details. Why aren't we making this idea reality?

I was at a middle eastern eatery with several friends and was served a chunk of lamb which happened to contain its spine and several ribs... How much will my SSI Decrease when I roomate in with my friends?

One of my friends makes 10$ an hour, up to 1200 a month, the other only makes 8.25$ an hour, and gets roughly 500-800 a month. I currently am in my own apartment, and we are moving out of the ones we seperatly live in, and into a 3 bedroom together that costs 799$ a month. I need to know how much my SSI is going to decrease, considering one of the roomates makes almost twice what I make I'm very sure it's going to go down, and he needs to be sure that I can continue to support myself without having to pick up the slack. I am a very self dependant person and have rented my own apartment for the last 3 years, before that I roomed in with the same roomate who makes 500-800$ a month without it decreasing, only it was a 1 Bedroom not a 3, and the SSI I recieved did not go down. I am going to have to report this once August 1st hits, and need to have at least an estimate for my friends of how much I am going to have to put forth, considering I have no idea how badly his 1200 a month might sack my SSI. What did the very start of your labour feel like?

It felt like a weird fuzzy feeling down below for the first 4 hours until my water broke. There was no pain, it was just a definite 'feeling' and it happened consistantly at decreasing intervals. Then my water popped when I went to lay down and thats when the bitchin pain started oh that was horrid. Those contractions were every 5 mins for the next 7 hours! With my son I didnt know I was in labour til I was 8cm and my water had to be broken by midwives so that I could push him out : )

Dog has smelly/over active anal glands!?

I have a female (fixed) golden retriever/maybe irish setter mix, about two years old. She has a very strong anal gland odor, I empitied them once externally and they were very full but i used some pretty firm pressure. She goes a while without stinking but if she has any supplements and certain foods make them act up again. I feed her Natural Balance Lamb and Brown Rice L.I.D. So good food, also, I have been giving her a prune once a day- whole wheat bread if i want to. I gave her raw chicken as treat but i don't give her anything else really. Why is she so stinky??!! I don't know how to keep this from being so gross- i have read to try your best to get the glands to express on their own, it may cause more harm than good to express them yourself too often.

Can newborn Kittens drink baby formula?

I took in a cat and she's given birth to 2 live kittens, and 3 dead ones :( all 3 looked like they had no bones and one had an open stomach. Anyway, the other 2 are now a dy old, moving meowing and passing waste, but i'm not sure if mama is looking after them, she'll go to them on and off, and if they meow for her, and she'll lay with them, but i've never actually seen her feed them, although they are moving about and don't seem any weaker than any other newborn kitten. The thing is it's 2am here, any shop would be closed until 6am tomorrow. If i stay up and don't see her feed them, can i give them my son's cow and gate formula until then? it's all i have in atm, but like i said, i'll be setting off to get to the shop at 6 for kitten milk. How long does a 0.7KG Leg of lamb take to defrost?

Leg of lamb shouldn't have been frozen in the first place. If you are going to make leg of lamb, make it fresh. But, no, it MUST be defrosted before you cook it. Otherwise, the inside will never cook to temperate and you will risk food poisoning. Also, I hope you did not leave it sit out for 6-7 hours defrosting as that is something you should never do. Always defrost in the refrigerator, or if you must, a microwave but never let meat sit out or sit in sink of water to defrost.

Appendicitis or pulled muscle?

I am a 19 year old female, smoker and drinker. I went out to the club friday night and danced on and off for a good 4-5 hours. As we were walking out i felt a sharp little pain in my right side. It's really up to you.In my opinion,I'd choose Blue Buffalo over Wellness.Wellness can be pricey.I don't know what the going prices for their dry food is in my area but their can food is about $3.25 for one can.My dog had trouble digesting Wellness but did wonderfully on Blue Buffalo.Some dogs can handle Wellness while others can't.If all dogs,can handle Wellness keep them on that but price wise Blue Buffalo is better priced.Unless any of the dogs has issues on Wellness,I wouldn't switch but if price is an issue Blue Buffalo

Should I take my dog to the emergency hospital?

Sheep still having problems a week after giving birth to two lambs?

One of our sheep is very old (approaching 10 years), and has just given birth to twins last Sunday. She is still walking around quite slowly, and is sitting down a lot. One of the lambs has died since it didn't have any milk but the other one we have been able to nurse back to health with hand feeding. The mother stays away from all the other sheep in the flock and doesn't respond much to hand feeding (she usually eats food out of our hands all the time). She is also convulsing like she is about to cough or have another lamb, and is has some thick bleeding coming out of her backside since this morning. Last summer I grew a hell of a lot, but suddenly stopped and now I'm starting a super intense exercise. 200 laps swimming (1 1/2 h) in the morning and afternoon and 1 hour running in the morning and afternoon, as well. My diet will be 6 healthy meals a day only carbohydrates and proteins, and vitamins at least 2 meals a day. Sleep 10 hours to get a good night rest and drink 3 times a day milk so that my bones get the enough amount of calcium. Could this boost my growth to 6,0? Because honestly I'm kinda short for my age. we have a digetal scale adn it says i weigh more too. the other one with the numbers in a circle and an arrow actually measures you and doesnot use the type of tecnology as the otber one. i would suggest to use the one that is not digetal and remember to weigh your self in the morning right after you get up and go to the bathroom before you eat or frink anything for an accurate scaling. Should I go back to WoW?

I have been playing WoW since 2007..I started as a rogue and been always playing like a rogue since then .... It was only WoW for me back then...did nothing else..just playing WoW(note that i was at the 2nd class of junior high school) ...so joined a guild started raiding ..after some time reached high end raiding with downing illidan and got till M'uru pre nerf patch in tbc...so then Lich king came out..so I had a "name" in my server cause of my guild(which disbanned after lich king came out ) so joined another high end raiding guild and kept raiding till the end of lich king...so in september 2010 decided to stop playing WoW (which was really difficult i can say...i mean...i think i was a little bit addicted now that i consider my self better) and focus more on my studies because i was about to start my last class at school and so i had to study more to go the University after ...soooo here I am now ...1 year later , finished school and im really confused if i should start playing again or not ....there are many facts that keep me back from this decision..for example : i find my self more social now...clubbing,hanging out with friends,have a nice relationship with my girl for about 6 months now ,working out at the gym and also ...im thinking that ..If i join WoW again ill have to start everything from the beginning..my rogue is level 80 so ill have to get 5 more levels..gear up for Cataclysm and start raiding...i think im a bit late for all that ...guilds have already done their progressions , filled their raid spots and now they only recruit really good geared people sooo ...im very late for all that.. it will get me ages to gear up again and be good geared for a good raiding guild... but inside me i feel the need to go back to WoW again.. i really liked playing...loved that game ...was a part of my routine and i reaallyyyy want to start again ......but ...pfft i dont know....whats your opinion guys??

It could be carpal tunnel but i cant really say you should probably go to a doctor and get it checked out for sure and they could tell you what to do you could probably get to a physical therapist or if it is carpal tunnel if it worsens you could end up having to get surgery so i would go to a doctor and have them tell you exactly what is wrong and tell you how to cure it. Why did my dog start licking his paws constantly?

Generally licking of one certain area over a period of time means there is an irritation. I would check the paws out very closely, a lot of dogs get foxtails stuck inbetween their toes and this is VERY uncomfortable and if not removed can cause infection as well.

my 6 year old enrolled to school last year. he is in grade K. I have met his teacher and she seems really upfront and nice. My son has came home last year from school crying saying that a little kid in his class had pushed him when he was at the top of the slide and he went sliding down but had hit his head on the side of the slide and got a scrape on his elbow. He sometimes won't tell me if he was bothered at school that day until a week or so later. everytime he has told me though i had went to talk to his teacher. she said that other kid is seeing a shrink and they are trying to work with him at the school too but my son is still scared to go to school. To be totally honest, that is the most ridiculous prompt I have EVER heard. Aside from simple practice (maybe have your friend or mom come up with prompts on the spot), I would suggest faking it. For ridiculous questions like that, fight fire with fire. Come up with the most ridiculous reasons possible, and act confident, like you really believe in them. Smile, be full of energy. Can you determine suffocation as cause of death on a body decomposing for a year?

if someone was murdered and buried in the ground and the body was not discovered for a year, when the autopsy is done, can suffocation be conclusively determined as cause of death? wouldn't the body only be bones by that point? We were swimming when this kitten came out of the woods. Problems with shaving facial hair for the first time? Please help!?

First off, im a guy. Im 14. Im really hairy and i seriously need to shave. Some people have said i have got bum fluff! Thats not good! My facial hair goes right up to the top of my cheek bone. I may have eaten undercooked chicken yesterday night about 15 hours ago. I feel perfectly fine. I'm 11 weeks pregnant. I know it might be undercooked because I cooked it the time required for thawed chicken instead of frozen chicken (according to the package, they were frozen raw chicken wings). This is a touchy subject for my husband and I. Dr.s aren't giving us all the answers we feel we need. About 2 months ago my husband became deathly ill, he contracted a horrible MRSA infection which led to sepsis and pneumonia. He was in the hospital for 2 weeks and had to have surgery and chest tubes to drain 4 liters of fluid from his chest. He just ended 6 weeks of IV antibiotics for this particular illness. Every Dr. he sees says it's a miracle he survived. It's all thanks to the good Lord's love and grace. However...he has gone back to work (too early) and works very long shifts. He now has pain and swelling on the opposite side underneath his rib cage. He has had no fever, no other symptoms other than this pain. The ER said he was fine...blood work great and did xrays. They stated that all the muscles, nerves and bones are connected and the pain and swelling from the surgery (opposite side however) may travel and cause discomfort. His own primary Dr. says she doesn't know what it is either...she sent him for shingles testing! Which it's obviously not. I'm afraid for him...he is a strong man but something isn't right here. I don't have big faith in these Dr.s due to it was the ER that sent him home saying he had a viral infection that would pass in a week...had I listed to them, he would died in my bed! I took him into a different ER 2 days later and by that time his liver was basically failing and he was in fact dying. He has come such a long way through his healing...don't want to just let this go. Has anyone ever heard of this? It may or may not be connected to his previous issue. Would appreciate any insight as we look further for answers in a 3rd, or possible 4th opinion!

Then today I get an e-mail asking for money, to help with hospital bills. I told her no, but than I get an e-mail not three hours later, with her begging me too. I'm not one to give money to strangers, I'm just wondering if this is a common scam?
